Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our finance team. In this role, you will be vital in ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate management of our accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial administration, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Accurately code and post cash receipts to the accounting system.

  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Upload invoices to client invoicing platforms and ensure accuracy.

  • Maintain organized accounts receivable files and customer records.

  • Address and respond to internal and external client inquiries regarding accounts.

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly statements.

  • Collaborate closely with the collections team to optimize cash flow.

  • Handle special client requests and participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

 

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables; familiarity with accounting software (experience with JD Edwards is a plus).

  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.

  • Attention to Detail: Proven track record of delivering accurate work adhering to the highest standards of accountancy.

  • Adaptability: Strong ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
