Overview:
You will assist the Director of Group Risk Management in managing various enterprise risk management and some insurance activities with focus on executing the enterprise risk management framework worldwide, supporting selected insurance processes and building analytical risk models to drive insights and enable better decision making.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Enterprise Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Economics, Finance or related field
- 3-5 years of work experience in enterprise risk management, insurance, finance or related field
- The ideal candidate will collect, monitor and study risk data to create presentations/visuals that help deliver analytical insight
- Proven mathematical, analytical, research, and quantitative skills, in addition, candidate must have an inquisitive approach to analysis, asking provoking question, seeking additional information and challenging results when needed
- Presentation and clear communication skills are a plus
- Ability to translate data into insights leveraging analytical tools such as PowerBI and/or Tableau. Proficiency in Microsoft Professional Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms and Outlook
- Communicate in a clear, concise, accurate and timely manner, both verbally and in writing
- Intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn and adapt as the organization and role evolve overtime
- Ability to handle sensitive information, and to act with discretion and judgement while maintaining confidentiality
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
This position is based in Shelton, CT, with hybrid working schedule (2 days at the office, 3 days at home)
