As a Supply Chain Process Improvement Specialist for our Customer Excellence team in North America you will be responsible for the identification of inefficiencies, defining future process to improve performance, customer experience, and reduce costs aligned with our transformation strategy. The scope includes, but is not limited to end-to-end process evaluation with our Customer Excellence North America team, update as-is, design to-be, reduce inefficiencies, ongoing continuous improvement evaluations, etc.
What You’ll Do:
Overall driving governance and structure around:
• End-to-end process review within the Customer Excellence Team in North America
• Transition to differentiated customer experience
• Drive operational automation
• Analyze trends to recommend reduction in co-packing cost
• Develop As-Is and To-Be maps to identify and implement opportunities to improve process efficiency and effectiveness (cost, reliability, agility)
• Define a cohesive set of processes that connect and reinforce transformational efforts
• Utilize leading IT technology to deliver new capabilities to support End-to-End process maturity on the Customer Excellence NAM team
• Provide business cases for opportunities estimating the impacts, size of the effort, resources, and investments required to deliver
• Establish a clear governance and prioritization process aligned to short- and long-term business objectives
• Shape the process performance framework to measure effectiveness and impact
• Obtain consensus of all the project stakeholders on the solutions, approach, and priorities
• Publish project timelines with key milestone dates and owners
• Drive the Change Management aspects of assigned projects with relevant teams
• Collaborate and support Sr Manager Transformation in short and long-term NAM Customer Excellence vision
• Proactively respond to external changes that impact supply chain activity, including but not limited to customer behavior, seasonality, supply chain disruptions, etc.
What We’re Looking For In You:
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience (a degree focused on Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or IT preferred)
• 5-8 years’ experience within the Supply Chain industry is a must
• Consumer Packaged Goods industry is preferred
• Demonstrated records of leading diverse and complex process re-engineering projects from conception through implementation in one of the following areas: Order Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups) and MS Office PowerPoint is required
• Experience preferred with other quantitative tools (Power BI, JDA, JDE, Mercury Gate)
• Knowledge of Best-In-Class Supply Chain tools (i.e. Gartner Magic Quadrant) is a plus
• High level of analytical skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and creative thinking
• Build value propositions, business cases and influence leadership
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to work out of our Shelton, CT office 2 days per week and work from home 3 days per week
