The sales Director reports to the General Manager, Skin Creative and is a member of the Skin Creative Leadership Team. This position is responsible for the direction and management of all sales operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, distribution, and channel strategy. In this key Executive role, the Sales Director will drive the achievement of customer acquisition and profitable revenue goals by continuing to establish the market, growing distribution with BIC core customers, while building distribution in key new customer channels. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Execute the organization’s long-range and short-term sales strategy and forecast sales volumes. 

  • Define sales processes that drive desired commercial outcomes and identify improvements where and when required 

  • Constantly develop and evolve sales infrastructure, including team, processes, and systems to support the rapidly changing demands of our consumers and customers 

  • Develop a culture of fluid internal movement in support of further developing team member skillsets in support of company objectives 

  • Develop and implement commercial plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals with current core and “necessary new” customers 

  • Foster culture of success, driving ongoing business and goal achievement  

  • Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth 

  • Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of identifying and carrying out required insights, sales and service initiatives. 

  • Manage and exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction 

  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide spontaneous feedback to company leadership team and other company functions 

  • Work closely with the marketing team to establish successful support, channel and partner programs 

  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities 

  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key customer relationships 

  • Actively participate as member of the Skin Creative Leadership Team 

 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or related field required: MBA preferred 

  • Minimum 15 Years of sales experience with 10 of years in a senior sales leadership position, preferably in the consumer products industry with experience in the fashion and/or beauty segments 

  • Demonstrated experience and ability of planning and managing at both strategic and operational levels 

  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team-oriented environment

Candidate should possess the following: 

  • Good experience in key classes of trade MASS, Ecommerce, specialty Beauty and fashion, Direct To Consumer 

  • Strong, proven, experienced, curious, dynamic leader who embraces change and is capable of leading/driving continued growth rates across core business, identifying and accelerating new growth opportunities, while leading and developing a core team of Sales Professionals in meeting the rapidly changing needs and demands of our consumers and customers.
