Overview:

 

As the Senior Manager, Enterprise IT Infrastructure Architect at BIC, you will play a pivotal role in redesigning, planning, and implementing the organization's technology infrastructure to support its strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to renovate BIC’s infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and the security of enterprise infrastructure solutions.

What You’ll Do:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise infrastructure strategy aligned with the company's business goals and future growth plans.
• Create and maintain architectural blueprints, standards, and guidelines for the organization's infrastructure, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with software development, network, and cyber security teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components and applications.
• Monitor and assess infrastructure performance, anticipate capacity needs, and plan for scalability to support business demands.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to source hardware, software, and cloud services.
• Implement and enforce security measures, compliance standards, and data protection protocols across the infrastructure to safeguard sensitive information.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate applicability to improve infrastructure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives, optimizing resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted operations.

 

Projects You’ll Work On:
• Active directory future state with a focus on securing the enterprise through a strong identity and access management program developed in partnership with the Cybersecurity team.
• Physical environment consolidation: Cloud-first approach to be employed to shrink the BIC enterprise physical footprint.
• Azure Architecture refinement with a focus on governance, security, and effective administration.
• Evolution of Cybersecurity; tooling, best practices, access management. This work will be led by Cybersecurity. The Enterprise Architect will partner with the team to ensure the progression of cybersecurity considering the future state of infrastructure.
• Network segmentation support across the enterprise.
• Implementation standards to be developed in partnership with the Enterprise Application Architect and the Cyber Security team.
• Infrastructure and Cybersecurity portfolio alignment.
• Partnering with Cybersecurity to develop a device management strategy.
• The development of AI standards and practices to ensure BIC is ready to move into the future. These standards will be defined in partnership with the Cybersecurity team.
• Backup strategy to include optimization and cost savings through the elimination of duplicative technologies and the definition of a set of enterprise standards for on-premises, Azure, and hosted solutions.


What We’re Looking For In You:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Relevant experience is applicable in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 10 years experience as an Infrastructure Architect or similar role in a large enterprise environment.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and cloud computing.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data protection best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Project management experience is required.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional) are a plus.
