JOB DESCRIPTION
As the International Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating the movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure. Responsibilities include the ability to work independently on assigned metrics, utilization of different systems and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Key competencies for this position require searching and developing tools to present analysis findings to support objectives connected to international logistics.
What You'll Do:

Responsible for assigned lanes to execute all International Air, Ocean, Trucking and Intermodal shipping requirements for both Import and Export country accounts

Responsible for high value non-stock international transfer of goods

Create and maintain the necessary documentation and forms for the lawful execution of all import/export activities, such as, and not limited to SLI’s, Hazardous declarations, Commercial Invoices, Proformas, etc.

Work closely with contracted freight forwarders and carriers to meet estimated delivery dates

Provide the management team with standard and exception based KPI’s as assigned

Partner with Procurement and Deployment to manage assigned lanes and assist with onboarding new vendors

Manage weekly, monthly, and year end reports to support Dashboard data feeds and key business functions as assigned by Manager to identify metrics, trends, and best practices

Monitor freight forwarders dashboard metrics to recognize trends, challenges or issues that require attention and/or corrective action

Create, maintain and report KPI’s to identify internal and external opportunities for improvement

Manage Freight bill exceptions

Prepare monthly root cause analysis for invoicing issues

Prepare data to support QBR’s with forwarders and carriers
-
Process international claims
-
Identify and implement continuous process improvements initiatives
-
Provide landed cost analysis for proposed new product launches and or lanes (Work with Compliance Team)

Participate in testing new system enhancements
-
Create standard operating procedures for new processes/system features/tasks

Maintain master list of standard operating procedures related to logistics activities and functions. Name and save documents to comply with file numbers/naming convention
What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required
-
3-5 years of related work experience or education in International Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management required

Action oriented, results driven

Demonstrated ability to identify issues and implement corrective action with timely follow up
-
Capability of accomplishing day to day tasks utilizing various enterprise software systems
-
Basic competencies in Microsoft Word

Advanced competencies in Excel (including Pivot Tables, V look ups, etc.)

Capable of creating PowerPoint decks to illustrate metrics
