The Global eCommerce Analytics Manager will be part of an exciting transformative group within BIC - the Digital & eCommerce COE. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in careers in eCommerce to expand upon their experience in a highly visible role. The Manager will be comfortable utilizing and analyzing various business intelligence sources (syndicated data, market level data, digital shelf analytics, social/media analytics, retailer customer data, and consumer trends) to help influence decisions and action planning for both global and regional strategies that drive eCommerce sales and growth. This role is global, meaning you will interact daily with BIC team members across the world, and report to the Sr. Manager, Global eCommerce, based in Shelton CT.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead Global eCommerce and digital growth planning and strategy recommendations through data gathering, research and analytics  

  • Lead global monthly reporting cycle – coordinate with regional teams to build monthly performance report for senior leadership & regional share-out 

  • Proactively identify use cases for advanced analytics to provide value and guide digital CoE strategies and actions – focused on ways to expand BIC’s market share gain online via digital & eCommerce strategies 

  • Represent the Digital CoE on broader organizational efforts for reporting automation projects 

  • Working closely with regional counterparts, provide regular analyses of top global customers (ex. Amazon) to identify areas of opportunity and greater efficiency 

  • Lead data gathering from all sources to ensure quality/validity of data and analysis, with extremely strong attention to detail 

  • Maintain a strong command of sales, market share, category, competitive, digital marketing, DTC/CRM, and platform specific eCommerce data sets to support the generation of meaningful insights that drive action to the business with the consumer at the center of insights and actions 

  • Develop, deliver and maintain regular reporting of KPI dashboards, including correlation analyses as needed (digital shelf, media impacts, etc.) 

  • Partner on digital CoE projects as needed as the eCommerce analytics subject matter expert 

  • Manage 3rd party data and reporting providers to maintain data and stabilized data and reporting capabilities 

  • Deliver impactful data visualization outputs for executive audiences 

 

Qualifications 

  • 4-7 years of experience analyzing eCommerce, sales, or marketing data is required 

  • Bachelor's degree and significant data analysis experience is a must 

  • CPG industry or Retailer experience is preferred 

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and attention to detail required. Proficiency in PowerBI preferred.  

  • Strong data analysis skills are a must 

  • Strong knowledge of data management tools 

  • Experience linking multiple data platforms (social media, open, etc) and with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) 

  • Experience with digital analytics is a plus (digital analytic tools, dynamic ecommerce pricing, content optimization, SOV measurement, etc). 

  • Intellectual curiosity, along with excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, and recommend solutions 

  • Ability to independently own database development and decisions, balancing demands and deadlines 

  • Communications skills and ability to communicate technical content in an easy-to-understand way 

  • Strong team-orientation skills 

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
