In alignment with its strategy, BIC aims to leverage its expertise in developing and manufacturing high-performance product solutions to grow our Temporary Tattoo business for non-consumer solutions. To that end, BIC is establishing a new dedicated B2B sales position to develop this business. This is a rare opportunity perfect for an experienced sales professional who wants to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit. BIC Skin Creative is a start-up business within the supporting framework of an iconic brand which has been in business for more than 75 years.

 

The Senior Manager, Business to Business Sales - Skin Creative reports to the Commercial Director for Skin Creative. This is a global position, based in the US, which serves as the key contact to our customers and will be integral in continuing our aggressive five-year path of building the Skin Creative business by driving profitable revenue growth. The Senior Manager - Business to Business Sales is a go-getter who will sell custom products in partnership with the Skin Creative technical team to bring new business and effectively manage our growing customer base. This position will also be responsible for managing 2 Sales Managers

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Business Development

  • Analyze and build a perpetual pipeline of new prospects and customers in line with the Skin Creative business strategy, including market analysis, competitive analysis, consumer, and category insights, etc.

  • Identify new strategic sales opportunities and manage the sales cycle by prioritizing and determining which opportunities have the highest probability of closing and meeting Skin Creative financial requirements

  • Prepares and presents new prospect selling story in collaboration with other Skin Creative team members

  • Translates customer needs into an innovation product brief and partners with the technical team to capture the necessary technical specifications and determine product viability

Financials & Contracts

  • Achieve or exceed annual budget (Net Sales, EBIT, and IRR) and ROI on essential investments

  • Prepare and communicate monthly sales updates providing a view of sales potential and probability of success using defined reporting tools

  • Lead business case development in collaboration with Finance, Group Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders

Account Management & Planning

  • Grow and nurture customer relationships; have regular engagement with the client.

  • Become the “go-to” who is knowledgeable about all aspects of the business engagement with the client

  • Lead preparation and execution of the agenda, presentations, recap, and follow-ups for internal and customer meetings

  • Help resolve issues by proposing and presenting alternative approaches and strategies; escalate issues as appropriate

  • Manage the forecasting process demand between customer and supply chain

Providing Value-Add, Driving Future Growth

  • Maintain and expand knowledge base of technology, competition, macro and consumer trends, category trends, and new innovative materials.

  • Understand and communicate product test results or product in-market success to the business  

 

What We’re Looking for In You:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required with a preference for a major in business administration or marketing

  • Ideal candidate has 10 years or more of experience in sales with emphasis in business development and proven results in exceeding sales quotas and customer retention

  • Experience in B2B sales and working with Distributors is a must

  • Ability to travel around 30% of your work schedule

  • Consumer Goods selling experience; preferably in beauty, promotional products, medical, and/or gifts

  • Builds strong customer relationships (You are the customer’s favorite account manager!)

  • Excellent execution and follow up in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong presentation skills both in person and virtually

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills: both individually and in a group setting

  • Strong business acumen: Develops and presents a business plan that achieves the BIC key metrics across net sales, EBIT, GP, IRR, NPV (Able to analyze data and come up with a clear recommendation)

  • Has successfully worked with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, engineering & design, industrialization, manufacturing, planning, sales, marketing, project management, and quality).

Location: The role is in the US (remote) and works with multiple global time zones
