Senior Manager, Employer Branding & HR Communications

 

This role is responsible for leading the EVP and communication needs of internal functions within BIC, focusing on HR, DE&I, Change Management and Employee Engagement. This role supports our Horizon strategy through successful design, delivery and improvement of internal and external communications, and employee engagement focused on HR.

 

With a focus on the HR front, this person partners with the global talent acquisition director on the attraction and engagement of the diverse talent that our business needs to transform and grow. He/she will proactively influence change by sharing data-based information and supporting best in class HR communications. This person will also manage communication needs for the function, specifically dovetailing with internal comms and with those who manage LinkedIn and other social platforms.

This person will be fluent in the digital environment and able to use data to drive analysis and insights to feed our talent acquisition strategies on a global scale.

 

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with TA leadership, internal and external stakeholders (communications, vendors, etc.) continue to oversee and manage our EVP on a global scale
  • Train users internally to activate our brand, raise awareness and design / provide the necessary training and materials for our team members to become brand ambassadors
  • Work to protect the company’s reputation and brand image by reducing risk where possible with regards to regulatory compliance data integrity and audits in our recruiting practices
  • Strategize and measure how social media content creates visibility to the BIC brand by increasing awareness with candidates, customers, employees, etc.
  • Support BIC’s social media presence towards our targeted talent communities in partnership with the Senior Manager, Social Media.
  • Create and post compelling content to fuel our careers site, social media, and company profile pages on major job boards and talent branding sites.
  • Train and empower employees across the organization to become talent ambassadors by creating, maintaining, and cultivating content for their own social streams.
  • Proactively search for new opportunities to elevate and manage the employer brand and engage with candidates by reviewing competitors, understanding industry best practices, and nurturing partnerships internally and externally in support of this goal.
  • Design global sourcing and talent brand strategy to attract high-quality applicants on multiple platforms.
  • Lead, in partnership with the Communications team, the revamp of our global careers’ website.
  • Find opportunities to drive career site performance and enhance candidate experience.
  • Analyze and present key recruitment marketing KPI and ROI metrics to inform new and ongoing campaigns, programs, content, and tactics. Use data to provide insight-based recommendations for future action.
  • TA analytics beyond Recruitment Marketing program – supporting regions with determining ROI measurements for career fairs.
  • As a member of the NAM DEI Board, execute a Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion communications strategy.  Consult internally on a monthly basis to ensure internal efforts are aligned with broader HR communications strategy.
  • Increase strategic DEI positioning in the marketplace by creating DEI-specific page on the careers site, showcasing our company-wide commitments, leadership statements, ERGs, etc.  Optimize website for individuals with disabilities.
  • Support with Workzone rebranding/strategy and HR page on our intranet, The Point.
  • HR/DEI internal communications for The Point globally (International Women’s Day, Pride Month, etc) and What You Need To Know communication
  • Play an active role in the onboarding taskforce to determine how to globalize/standardize our communications and approach.
  • Cultivate and launch the Alumni Network for the organization.  Identify vendor support needed and lead the strategy for this initiative.
  • Partner with the Change Management Office on the development and implementation of comprehensive communication plans aligned with change management strategies and business objectives

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 5-8+ years’ experience working in a digital or recruitment marketing position producing and measuring content across varying channels.
  • Social media and online recruiting tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Facebook, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Advertising or other directly related field.
  • Proven experience managing communications for large-scale change initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills. 
  • A high degree of organizational prowess and meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Adept at copywriting and proofreading tasks. 
  • A global mindset and a deep passion for fostering growth.
  • Strong organizational skills; comfortable balancing multiple priorities. 
  • Ability to think critically, self-motivate, and take initiative on projects.
  • Experience working in a global company a plus.
  • Self-directed, strategic thinker with an analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in building compelling presentations that distill complex information into a clear narrative flow, concise takeaways, and impactful visuals. 
  • From ideation to execution, you have strong leadership, creative, influence and teamwork skills, together with ability to partner with and influence business partners.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, exert influence without formal authority, and engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
