Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, Americas

 

What You’ll Do:

 

As the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, Americas you will develop, implement and execute effective talent acquisition programs, processes and solutions that will attract the right talent for to BIC. You will be fully responsible for the recruitment operations and employment branding in all recruitment efforts including social media platforms.

 

Our Senior TA Managers are critical members of our business oriented teams and meet regularly with business leaders and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs, recruit, set sourcing strategies, identify potential gaps in the process and solve for all issues evolving during the hiring process. 

 


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the overall talent acquisition process including recruiting team members from North and Latin America, negotiating competitive offers and designing local onboarding programs. 
  • Is accountable for the delivery and quality of the overall talent acquisition process (advertising, sourcing, interviewing, recommendation), negotiates competitive offers and designs local onboarding programs
  • Lead, coach and develop TA team members to ensure the region delivers on defined HR goals
  • Develop new and innovating sourcing pipelines and partner with other stakeholders like universities and peer companies to increase candidate interest in BIC
  • Leverage data, metrics and knowledge of the recruitment landscape to influence and educate business stakeholders
  • Use social media sites to promote the BIC employer brand, post jobs and engage candidates.
  • Manage the overall candidate experience, coaching hiring managers on the process and implementing recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Direct, coach, mentor, and develop the full-time Recruiter
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to field HR Business Partners who are performing recruitment functions, coach and educate hiring leaders and HRBPs
  • Explore the market best practices in recruitment and staffing and implement internal key learnings to drive continuous improvement for the TA team and HR group
  • A proven ability to pipeline talent along with an in-depth knowledge of creative sourcing techniques to uncover passive candidates
  • Ability to handle customers and candidates remotely at international level
  • Experience with tools and technology including an Applicant Tracking System, HR People Management System, and LinkedIn Recruiter functionality required
  • This position is a hybrid in office role. There is a requirement to work onsite in our Shelton, CT location for a minimum of 2 days per week

What You’ll Need

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 10+ years recruiting experience in managing a Talent Acquisition team
  • Experience of managing TA operations across multiple countries, with a large focus on the US operations
  • Prior background in full cycle recruiting for executive level positions (Director & VP levels)
  • Speak fluent English, Spanish preferable
  • Past experience in the FMCG sector is a strong plus
  • PHR, CIR, or Airs certification is preferred
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, relationship building, multi-tasking, organizational, presentation, collaboration, follow-up, and negotiating skills
  • Ability to handle customers and candidates remotely at a global level
  • Demonstrated experience establishing customer relationships and a track record of excellent customer satisfaction required
  • Experience in a people leadership capacity, and ability to coach other TA team members
  • A proven ability to pipeline talent along with an in-depth knowledge of creative sourcing techniques to uncover passive candidates
  • Experience with tools and technology including an Applicant Tracking System, HR People Management Systems (SAP preferred), and LinkedIn Recruiter functionality required
