What You'll Do:

• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of Group financial reporting.
• Provide timely and accurate submissions through Oracle’s Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) with a shift to Anaplan.
• Maintain clean accounting records by performing Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Post journal entries for accruals, deferred expenses, fixed assets, and other necessary items to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Identify and correct accounting errors, investigating root causes.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and create reports and dashboards to aid stakeholders in decision-making.
• Utilize tools and other instruments to optimize data usage.
• Collaborate with external accountancy providers, sending financial data, including tracker lists of invoices and expense reports, to ensure proper recognition in external accounting books.
• Assist the Financial Controller in budgeting processes, providing analysis, and reports, and addressing information needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and integrate industry best practices.

What You'll Bring to BIC:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems, including JD Edwards (JDE).
• Familiarity with Oracle’s Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Anaplan is an advantage.
• Knowledge of accounting/financial principles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and their root causes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external auditors.
• Fluency in English
