Job Description

 

The Sales Manager BGM will be responsible to increase market share and maximise revenue in BIC's promotional products segment by identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key customers, and implementing effective sales strategies.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Strategy: The Sales Manager BIC Graphic  plays a strategic role in building create and implement action plans to achieve sales targets, identifying market needs and tailoring promotional product offerings to meet those demands.
  • Analytics: The Sales Manager BIC Graphic also plays an analytical role in conducting research and performing analyses on the performance of the sales department ensuring prompt delivery and accuracy of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to senior management. Monitor sales performance, report regularly on activities and results, and adjust strategies based on market data and trends.
  • Relationship: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client that generate higher revenues for the company.
  • Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with trade marketing, marketing, finance and logistics departments to ensure key customer needs are met. Develop a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
  • Generate new business: Identify and prospect new customers in various sectors and regions, using consultative selling techniques to present BIC's promotional products effectively.
  • Key account management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty through excellent customer service and the provision of personalised solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns and strategies that support sales initiatives and strengthen BIC's brand presence in the promotional products market.
  • Training and product knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of BIC promotional products, their features, benefits and differentiators to present a compelling offer and respond effectively to customer enquiries.

 

 

Projects You’ll Work On: 

 

  • Meeting or exceeding established sales targets.
  • Successful expansion of customer base and increased retention of existing customers.
  • Improved brand awareness and positioning of BIC's promotional products in the market.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or any other related filed. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable.
  • A candidate for this position must have had working experience of at least 3-6 years in a sales position within a complex and fast-paced business environment in a Promotional Products Company.
  • Proven successful track record in sales, with an understanding of the strategic approach to long term objectives, and the strength of commercial returns from a partnering approach
  • Results driven, possessing a proven track record of delivering against targets
  • Strong business development and organization skills
  • A solution focused approach to team and stakeholder problems, who can lead by example.
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to influence and debate at senior levels, in order to get the right result.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and get the best out of a team, proven with experience.
  • Previous experience of leading a large multi-skilled team, with the ability to coach, guide and be a knowledge base in commercial, marketing and communication.
  • Extensive experience in commercial roles with relevant industry knowledge.
