Prioritizing Wellness with Team BIC

 

Celebrating global initiatives that support our team members and their well-being. 

We take great pride in nurturing a culture that values care, connection, and personal growth. Whether it’s through local events, team-driven challenges, or employee-led programs, members of Team BIC across the globe are finding meaningful ways to support one another—during Mental Health Awareness Month and beyond. 

Here’s a glimpse at how different teams around the world are championing wellness in their own unique ways. 

 

Bulgaria 

  • Wellness Days 

Several times a year, BIC Sofia hosts Wellness Days where professionals in areas like fitness, nutrition, and healthcare share practical tips for living a healthy, balanced life. Topics range from office-friendly exercises and sleep health to nutrition and mental resilience. 

  • Legion Run 

To inspire team spirit and encourage physical wellness, 20 team members from our Sofia office participated in the Legion Run—an outdoor obstacle course designed to build trust, collaboration, and motivation through active, team-based challenges. 

North America 

  • Supporting Wellness and Mental Health (SWIM) 

SWIM is an employee-led resource group focused on promoting mental health awareness and building a supportive environment. Throughout the year, they lead initiatives that offer education, encourage peer connection, and create space for open conversations around mental well-being. 

  • Team BIC 5K 

Team members from our Shelton, CT location participated in a local 5K to promote movement and bring colleagues together. The event was a fun and inclusive way to support wellness while strengthening team bonds. 

France 

  • Feeling Good @BIC 

In Paris, our “Feeling Good @BIC” program takes a comprehensive approach to well-being. Programs like on-site fitness classes, nutrition workshops, predictive health assessments, and access to specialists such as psychologists and osteopaths make it easier for team members to prioritize their health in daily life. These offerings are designed to reduce stress, encourage healthier routines, and help individuals feel their best—both at work and beyond. 

  • Walking Challenge for a Cause 

Team members in Paris recently participated in a walking challenge that combined movement with purpose. Their collective steps helped raise funds for the Paris fire department — resulting in a donation of over €3,500. Initiatives like these inspire connection and collaboration while supporting the local community, reinforcing that well-being can be both personal and shared. 

 

Across BIC, wellness looks different depending on where you are, but the commitment to supporting our teams remains the same. These moments, both big and small, reflect how our global teams live out our One BIC values by putting people first.
